Sekisui Alveo shines with translucent foams
Innovative displays and lighting for automobile interiors. These special foams allow light to pass through soft trim elements such as the dashboard and door panels, displaying information or providing illumination. This new technology is driving a growing trend in interior design, particularly that of electric vehicles.
Recticel Engineered Foams in partnership with ViralSafe
The solution was developed in the light of fighting the COVID 19 pandemic and is well fitted for air filtration applications. The coating applied on the Bulpren foam kills viruses and bacteria on its surface in only a few seconds.
Masias sustainable mattress foams
FLEXIPAD enables clients to manufacture felts and wadding in a unique and flexible line. FLEXIPAD has been specially designed to empower the circularity within the company, reusing industrial scraps and manufacturing the new pads as foam replacers.
JSP's eco packaging, ARPLANK
ARPLANK's foam and bag combination has enabled a 40% reduction in packaging weight with increased performance against traditional flight cases. This EPE material is 100% recyclable and is made from 25% recycled content, bringing the market into a circular economy. Plus, waste is reduced by 5-10%.
Pahlke's sustainable foam materials
Historically, foam materials were produced primarily from raw materials based on crude oil. Today, there are various methods for producing foam using sustainable content. Sustainable foams can replace conventional products in a wide range of markets and Pahlke is looking to partner with these businesses.
Neveon's flame resistant foams
BORN NOT TO BURN - the new graphite foam from Neveon. Free of melamine and flame-retardant additives containing halogens, and therefore future-proof, comparatively cost-effective and with a superior environmental balance.
Interep's NEW closed cell product
Interep will introduce its new closed cell expanded CR – polychloroprene – rubber : CL62N. Simply efficient, our new CL62N (130 +/-20 kg/m3) brings together good mechanical properties as well as high level of fire, oil and temperature resistance and is available in blocks, sheets or rolls.

Held alongside Foam Expo, Automotive Interiors Expo takes place November 8-10, 2022, in Stuttgart, Germany. The show is free to attend and will feature more than 120 exhibitors specialising in automotive interior components and technologies. Highlights this year include Diamond Coatings’ innovative coatings on glass and plastics for capacitive switches, heaters, anti-reflection, RFI shields, lidar and more; ORV Manufacturing’s acoustic products that combine the need for low frequencies sound absorption while at high frequencies; and the CONO micro-mobility concept, presented by the Interior Cluster IZZI – a consortium of 18 industry partners and research institutes working together on R&D projects to develop future interior solutions.
